Lemmy B.

Lemmy B. is a disruption of perspective in self-definition, a radical decision in how one thinks. Don’t wait: act. An unexpected subjectivity emerges, asserting the will to be a generative presence within a dominant system that uses fear as a foundational element for a meticulous, suffocating control structure. Lemmy B. activates a space where the aesthetic and the political intertwine, sparking transformative practices through which the subject opens itself to an undetermined becoming. In a bare scene, where sound dramaturgy functions as an unrelenting gaze, the body becomes the only device capable of reconfiguring power grammars and subverting norms.

Nunzia Picciallo is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist born in Italy, working as a creator, performer, facilitator. Their creations develop through a transdisciplinary approach that weaves together dance, performance, conceptual, visual arts. Nunzia's work is defined by an ever-evolving investigation into the foundational dynamics between the body – understood as a subjectivity in constant transformation – and the system/space it inhabits.

Nunzia’s work has received numerous awards, including the Performance Award at the International Solo Tanz-Theater, the Residanza Award - Masdanza Award, Special Prize Movin’up IN. Selected for Stray Birds Dance Platform and Vetrina della Giovane Danza d'Autore. Finalist of DNAppunti Coreografici.
