Lemmy B. is a radical shift in perspective in self-definition, a decisive move in self-conception. Do not wait, act.
An unpredicted subjectivity manifests itself and asserts the will to be a generative presence within a dominant system that uses fear as a foundational element within a control scheme that is both meticulous and suffocating.
The aesthetic and the political establish themselves mutually in the space inhabited by Lemmy B., stimulating transformative practices through which the subject opens to an undetermined becoming. In a bare scene, where the sound dramaturgy is a constant gaze that leaves no escape, the body is the only device capable of reconfiguring power grammars and subvert canons.

W am I is still a question - 2024 ongoing
Concept, creation, visual, sound, performance: Nunzia Picciallo
Full length: 42 min
2022 - ongoing
Supported by Equilibrio Dinamico, BIG Factory, Fuorimargine Sardegna, Associazione culturale Ri.E.S.Co
Cortoindanza’s Choreography writing prize
Selected for Vetrina della Giovane danza d'autore 2022, Network Anticorpi XL
In this work, the 5 Ws (Who, What, Where, When, Why) are the questions that move the creative process that the artist explores with interdisciplinary practices connected to the use of the body: through movement, repetition, painting, the author and performer dissociates herself from the memory of the binarism of the dance and form, to free themself from the canon of the norm, seeking a genderless physicality, allowing themselves to be overwhelmed by a chaotic movement, to free themselves from the canon of the norm and the limit of the binary. W AM I is a constant practice, a hybrid and fluid experience that continues to change over time. The paintings created during the performance become part of the archive and the "remains of a performance" collection.

Officina - work in progress
Concept, performance, sound design: Nunzia Picciallo - Digital creation: Benjamin Landis
Supported by: Equilibrio dinamico, Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, Dsipositivo Arti Sperimentali, Associazione culturale Ri.E.S.Co
FFICINA is a project chosen by the call Abitare, a residency project conceived by Equilibrio Dinamico with the support of the Municipality of Andria, the Pugliese Public Theater, Castel Dei Mondi Festival, in collaboration with Officina San Domenico in Andria.
Selected by Collagene by DAS Dispositivo Arti Sperimentali, Bologna for the second week of residency
Full lenght: variable
Officina is a fluid space for work, experimentation, and creation— a collective archive based on the foundation of "forever work in progress."
In this interdisciplinary and interactive project, the artist questions the role, value, and definition of dirt, of the 'unfinished,' opting for a constant work in progress rather than a packaged, completed product.
The artist challenges production timelines, aiming to highlight the importance of research and development behind a performance. They choose to present the preparatory and creative actions as the very result of the performance itself, leaving space for fluid and adaptable margins that respond to the context and timing of each presentation.
The multidisciplinary nature of Officina seeks to amplify the modus operandi of a slightly frantic and sporadic jack-of-all-trades, much like the experience of daily life—where we are constantly shifting between tasks, racing against deadlines. The interactivity offered in Officina shifts the focus from the individual work of the performer to a collective effort, with actions that support and enhance the process.
